Terms

Terms for online lessons, in-person lessons, membership and event bookings with Oscar Linde Piano.

Last updated: 25 July 2026. These terms are written for Oscar Linde Piano and are governed by Danish law. The Danish version prevails in case of discrepancy.

Business details

These terms apply to every agreement made with Oscar Linde Piano, a Danish sole proprietorship (enkeltmandsvirksomhed) with company registration number (CVR) 44979780, registered at Eckersbergsvej 42, 5230 Odense M, Denmark. You can reach me at contact@oscarlindepiano.com. The terms cover the online program, in-person lessons, membership and bookings of live piano music for events.

How an agreement is made

An agreement becomes binding once you have received a written confirmation from me by email. The contact and application forms on this site are enquiries only and do not commit you to anything. For event bookings, the date, duration, venue and price are confirmed in writing before the agreement is binding. Agreements are concluded in Danish or English.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown on the relevant page and are stated in Danish kroner. The ten-week online program is DKK 5,000 paid up front, or DKK 5,500 split into two instalments. In-person lessons run as an ongoing monthly arrangement at DKK 1,200 per month. Event bookings start at DKK 5,000 and are set according to the scope of the job. Where a price includes VAT, this is stated next to the price. Payment is made by bank transfer against an invoice, by card via Stripe, or — for membership — directly on the Skool platform. Invoices fall due 8 days after the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Delivery of the services

The online program runs for ten weeks and includes scheduled one-to-one sessions online, ongoing support via WhatsApp and lifetime access to the theory program. Access to the digital material is granted as soon as your payment is registered. In-person lessons are delivered as sessions of 35 minutes according to an agreed schedule. For event bookings, the agreed performance is delivered at the agreed time and place.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from the agreement, counted from the day the agreement is made, under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven). For digital content delivered immediately — including access to the theory program and the members' area — the right of withdrawal lapses once delivery has begun with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right. You are asked to give this consent actively at the point of purchase. If a service has begun within the 14 days at your request, you may still withdraw against paying for the part already delivered. To withdraw, email contact@oscarlindepiano.com before the deadline expires.

Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows

A scheduled lesson can be moved or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed time. Cancelling later, or not showing up, means the lesson counts as held. The ongoing monthly arrangement can be terminated in writing with effect from the end of the current paid month. An event booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days before the date; cancelling later means 50% of the agreed price is invoiced.

If I have to cancel

If illness or other circumstances outside my control prevent me from delivering an agreed service, I will first offer a new date. If no new date can be found, any amount you have paid for the undelivered service is refunded within 14 days. I am not liable for related costs such as venue hire or transport.

Intellectual property

All teaching material, videos, sheet music and arrangements you are given access to belong to Oscar Linde Piano and are protected by copyright. The material is for your personal use. It may not be shared, resold, published or used for your own teaching without written permission. Access to the members' area is personal and must not be shared.

Liability

Teaching is delivered as a service, and no particular musical result is guaranteed, since the outcome depends on your own practice. My liability is in all cases limited to the amount you have paid for the service in question. I am not liable for indirect losses or loss of business.

Complaints and governing law

If something is not right, please contact me first at contact@oscarlindepiano.com. If that does not resolve it, as a consumer you can complain to Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, via the complaints portal at naevneneshus.dk. Agreements are governed by Danish law and any dispute is settled by the Danish courts.
